At the time that I took these photos, my mom had only lived in the house for about 2 weeks. So she hadn’t completely unpacked yet, nor did she have all the new furniture in. But that’s ok. Her house still rocks!
Unfortunately, my amateur camera didn’t do the house justice. But oh well. I’ll take better pictures when I go back to see my family again.

Memphis loves watching his tapes… over.. and over… and over
But one day he decided to build a tower out of them.
The neighborhood we lived in put together a 4th of July party. Everybody was hanging out in one of 2 areas: the court where the karaoke machine (my aunt would have had a blast here!) and the aerojumper were (for the kids) or in front of Robbin’s house where the food and drinks were. It was a pleasant day, not too hot. Memphis refused to go in the jumper without Daddy
But once Daddy went in with him, he had a blast. Stacy from next door was putting on a show with her talent for singing. She’s actually pretty good.
It was fun watching fireworks up close and personal. Robbin’s hubby Sean had bought a ton of different fireworks and stuff. Him and some of the guys started lighting some of them off during the day but once it started getting dark, the real show began. It was a spectacular display. The only downfall was getting ashes in my hair. And poor Robbie got hit with a rather large burning ember on her bare leg. Memphis was sitting on her lap at that time but luckily he didnt get hit.

I finally got around to putting up Memphis’ birthday party pictures today. All the kids, grandparents, Marty and I went to Chuck E Cheese. I figured all of them would have a blast and they did.

A few months ago Nik’s mom invited us to visit with her while Marty did a job for them. I had never been to their place before but I had heard a lot about it and how spacious it was. Boy, was that an understatement. We had a great time there. The only bad part was when Tyler ran into a tree while running with his kite. I’m just glad he didnt fracture his skull. =(
